First-Year Required Courses
The first year of study consists
solely of required courses. To provide an optimal
learning environment, enrollment is limited in
all divisions. Small class sizes are further enhanced
by dividing several first-year courses into smaller
sections, allowing for more individualized instruction.
Additional Required Courses
In subsequent years
of study, additional required courses solidify
the foundation laid in the first year. Students
also select elective courses to broaden their
scope or to concentrate in specific legal fields.
Elective Course Concentration Areas
Upper Level Writing Requirement
A student is required to complete before graduation an original work of acceptable professional quality involving a significant exploration of a single major topic.
