Professor Astorino holds bachelor’s, masters
and doctoral degrees in history from the University
of Pittsburgh and a law degree from Duquesne University.
After teaching history at the University of Pittsburgh,
Waynesburg College and St. Vincent College, he
joined the Duquesne University history faculty
in 1963. His tenure in the History Department
included 13 years as department chair. In 1984,
he joined the Law faculty, where he brings a unique
historical perspective to the study of law. He
has written numerous articles on local and national
political and legal history. |
