“Graduates
of the Duquesne University School of Law will
be prepared for the challenges of the new millennium
because they will be well grounded with a tradition
that produced lawyers dedicated to the advancement
of social justice. Being a member of the Duquesne
Faculty, I believe that I have first-hand knowledge
of the dedication that we have for our students,
both inside the classroom and outside. Today,
the maturity and understanding of the duty of
being a lawyer must be appreciated by the student
or they will not be considered prepared for the
practice of law. In doing so, Duquesne has recognized
its duty to the student, to the communities that
it serves and to the institutions of the law that
it must protect.” |
