Professor Jordan joined the Faculty of Duquesne
Law School in 1992 as an Assistant Professor and
was promoted to Associate Professor in 1995. She
received a B.S. in Mathematics from the University
of Memphis, a J.D. from the University of Arizona,
and an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of
Denver. Professor Jordan is a member of the bars
of Colorado, Tennessee and the U.S. Tax Court.
Prior to joining the faculty, Professor Jordan
was an associate with Baker & Hostetler and
taught as an Adjunct Professor in the University
of Denver Graduate Tax Program.
Professor Jordan’s interests include yoga,
hiking, traveling, and, especially, bike touring.
She particularly enjoys bike tours that allow
her to combine her love of English and Scottish
history with her interest in historical preservation,
and has toured in the United States, Canada, England,
New Zealand, and Scotland. Professor Jordan serves
on the Board of Trustees for the Pittsburgh History
and Landmarks Foundation and is a member of the
National Trust for Historic Preservation, Preservation
Pittsburgh, The National Trust for Scotland, English
Heritage Trust and The Friends of York Minster. |
