Dean
Kwisnek earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from
Saint Vincent College and her Juris Doctor degree
from Duquesne Law School, where she was on the
editorial boards of the Duquesne Law Review and
Juris magazine and honored as the outstanding
woman law graduate for the year 1991-1992. After
graduating, Dean Kwisnek served as a U.S. Peace
Corps volunteer in Lesotho. She later served as
a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas G. Saylor,
Pennsylvania Superior Court. Dean Kwisnek returned
to Duquesne Law School in 1995 as a full-time
Legal Research and Writing instructor and as a
Consultant to the Career Services Office. In 1997
she was appointed Director of the Career Services
Office, and in 1998 she was appointed Assistant
Dean for Students.
She is co-chair of the Law & Education Committee
of the Women’s Bar Association, a board
member of the Association of Lawyers in Other
Professions, and a member of the Phi Alpha Delta
legal fraternity. Dean Kwisnek is currently pursuing
a Master of Science degree in Community Counseling. |
