Professor Mistick graduated from the University
of Pittsburgh in 1971 with a B.A. degree and from
Duquesne University School of Law in 1979 with
a Juris Doctor degree and has been admitted to
practice before all Pennsylvania and federal courts.
He was named Director of Clinical Legal Education
in 1996 and created the award-winning Economic
& Community Development Law Clinic. In addition
to local recognition for its development assistance
in urban neighborhoods, HUD recently cited the
ECD Clinic as a national model program of its
type. More recently, Criminal Advocacy and Civil
& Family Law Clinics have been added to the
in-house program.
Prior to joining the full-time faculty, Professor
Mistick spent three years as Executive Secretary
to the Mayor of Pittsburgh. |
