“To
me, what is special about Duquesne School of Law
is its sense of community and purpose. The Law
School is small enough to foster feelings of shared
experience, yet large enough to offer students
a wide variety of professional areas to explore.
Paired with this atmosphere of camaraderie and
opportunity is a strong commitment on the part
of the administration and faculty alike to prepare
students to succeed as competent and caring professionals
in the legal field. At Duquesne I am encouraged
to raise questions about values and social well-being
in every course I teach; likewise, I am free to
draw from other disciplines to broaden my own
and my students’ understanding of various
topics. As a legal educator, I welcome that encouragement
and freedom, and believe it greatly enhances our
students’ education.” |
