“One
of the reasons why Duquesne should be considered
by a prospective law student is that the School
is located in a wonderful community, Pittsburgh.
The University and the School of Law sit on the
top of one of the city’s highest points.
The view is both magnificent and inspiring. The
energy of a great city is part of Duquesne and
Duquesne is part of a great city’s legacy.
A lot of people who have never been to Pittsburgh
perceive it as an old, burned-out steel town.
I think that those people are pleasantly surprised
when they see how much Pittsburgh has to offer.
The Andy Warhol Museum is just one example of
the growing cultural center of Pittsburgh. The
riverfront property offers great entertainment.
Also, two new separate state-of-the-art stadiums
have been built for the Pittsburgh Pirates and
the Pittsburgh Steelers. Obviously, lawyers will
be needed in many different areas to facilitate
all of the growth and expansion and to keep this
city moving into the 21st century.” |
