Professor Taylor joined the Duquesne Law faculty
in 1980. He earned his Bachelor of Science in
Physics from the University of Pittsburgh in 1960.
Three years later he received his Master of Divinity
from the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. At both
institutions he received numerous awards and distinctions,
including Phi Beta Kappa.
He served as minister to several congregations
before living and studying in Europe and Israel.
In 1979, he received his Juris Doctor from Duquesne
University. Following graduation, he served as
a consultant to a justice of the Pennsylvania
Supreme Court.
He received the President’s Award for Teaching
Excellence in 1992, was named the Thomas W. Henderson
Distinguished Professor of Legal Ethics in 1998,
and received the Eugene P. Beard Award for Leadership
in Ethics in 2000. |
