Professor Yochum earned his B.A. in 1974 from
Carnegie Mellon and his J.D. in 1977 from Georgetown
University. He trained as a tax lawyer, became
a bankruptcy hobbyist, and now primarily toils
over issues of professional responsibility. He
has been the Chairman of the Law School’s
Continuing Legal Education Committee (CLE) for
more than a decade.
Professor Yochum is a frequent lecturer for regional
and national organizations, such as the Allegheny
County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute
and numerous other bar associations and accounting
groups, including the regional Tri-State Bankruptcy
Annual Symposium, the National Conference of Bankruptcy
Judges and the National Association of Bankruptcy
Trustees.
