Juris Doctor/Master of Divinity
School of Law/Pittsburgh Theological Seminary

This double competency program enables a student to earn both the Juris Doctor and Master of Divinity in five academic years. Candidates must be admitted to each school independently. Students interested in this program should also contact the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary at:

Candidates must begin their study in the School of Law prior to substantially completing the requirements for the master’s degree.

Students are permitted to enroll in up to 15 credit hours of course work per semester. Students may be permitted to enroll in up to three credit hours of the Law School’s clinical course work toward satisfying the credit requirements for the J.D. degree. Specific course requirements and limitations may be obtained from the Law School Admissions Office.
