How to Apply

Enrollment is open to American and foreign law students and to American and foreign graduate students interested in legal history and Canon Law. All applicants must be in good academic standing. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited.

Application form (PDF)

Tuition, fees, and housing (including breakfast but no other meals) are $4,200 and are due by April 1, 2009. Checks must be received by April 1, 2008 and must be payable in U.S. dollars to Duquesne University.

Summary of Costs and Payment Deadlines:

  Application Fee - ASAP, but no later than March 2, 2009 $250
  Balance- Tuition $2,250
    Housing $1,700
  (balance due by April 1, 2009)  
  Total $4,200

Travel costs to and from Rome, meals (except for breakfast) and all other costs and expenses not specifically mentioned are not included. We suggest you consult with a travel agent and request the lowest available fare from any carrier. Fares vary widely.

Financial Aid

Students may be able to obtain student loans through their own law schools to attend the program. Please contact the financial aid office of your school for the proper procedure for applying for loans. Duquesne University will provide supporting documents.

Cancellation Policy

Duquesne University reserves the right to cancel the program due to insufficient enrollment or other extraordinary emergency conditions. In the event of cancellation, deposits will be refunded.
