Student Division
The American Bar Association/Law Student Division
Representative provides law students with information
concerning their current needs as students, as
well as their future professional endeavors. More
than 40,000 law students and over 370,000 lawyers
are members of the ABA. The ABA/LSD Representative
is responsible for coordinating “Work-A-Day,”
a program that encourages law students throughout
the country to spend a day volunteering in their
communities. The Law Alumni Mentor Program, which
pairs students and alumni with similar areas of
interest, is coordinated by the ABA/LSD Representative,
the Law Alumni Office and a liason from the Law
Alumni Association. Students have the opportunity
to meet with mentors at programs throughout the
year, as well as use the “Mentor Program
Resource Book” as an invaluable informational
tool.
