Duquesne Law's Juvenile Defender Clinic welcomes Pittsburgh public housing representatives to learn about the clinic's new services for public housing residents and their families.

Supervising attorney Tiffany Sizemore-Thompson will discuss public sessions to be held at all of Pittsburgh's public housing communities with student attorneys, social workers, and support staff. The sessions will discuss in detail the clinic's free and confidential legal assistance with:

  • Expungement of juvenile or criminal records
  • Employment problems related to juvenile or criminal records
  • Readmission to school after suspension, expulsion or alternative education placement

The clinic's work in the communities is being made possible through a grant from the federal Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.

A schedule of the public sessions will be available after the Jan. 25 (invitation-only) meeting for housing representatives. To register for the Jan. 25 event or to learn more, contact Beth Licciardello, licciardellos@duq.edu, 412.396.4730.
