HeinOnline

 

eTOC Alert - Use your MyHein account to receive an email every time the title(s) you have selected has been updated. The MyHein User Guide (page 3) has more information on how to setup eToc alerts.

Current Index to Legal Periodicals (CILP) - CILP is a weekly periodical in the Law Journal Library that provides topical access from all of the law journals on HeinOnline.

 

Bloomberg BNA

 

BNA provides email alerts for many of their online titles, including United States Law Week. Click the email updates link on the top of the title or select from the profile page once you create a BNA account. If you will frequently be reading your BNA alerts off-campus, it is recommended that you use Bloomberg Law to set up the alerts using your BLAW account.

 

Westlaw

 

You can create alerts to receive amendments to statutes and regulations, court opinions and KeyCite Alerts.

 

Lexis

 

Lexis offers an alert service, a citator (Shepard's), and a variety of other features and services.

 

Bloomberg Law

 

Alerts are available in Bloomberg Law. Many of the titles available from Bloomberg BNA are also available here.

 

CCH-Intelliconnect

 

You can sign up for Tracker News to receive emails on subjects such as unemployment insurance, secured transcations, etc.

 

SSRN - Legal Scholarship Network (LSN) eJournals

 

SSRN allows anyone create a free account and to subscribe to various research papers series. However, if a law faculty member uses their Duquesne email address when creating a free SSRN account, they will also have access to the LSN Subject Matter eJournals that are fee based. To automatically receive email alerts for ejournals, click this link to go directly to the Legal Scholarship Network subscriptions page (you will be prompted to log in to SSRN.) Press the "expand all" button to easily see what series are available (Subject Matter eJournals are listed at the end). You can add as many subscriptions to your LSN account as you wish. If you are unable to select "orange" subject eJournals, please contact Amy Lovell  for account assistance.
