Students Honored for Committment to Public Service
Congratulations to third-year day students Elizabeth Diller and Teisha Smith-Harrison who have received national recognition for their commitment to public service.
Elizabeth Diller was selected as a member of the Equal Justice Works Summer Corps for her work with Legal Assistance of the Finger Lakes in Geneva, NY. This year Equal Justice Works received a record number of applicants, and the selection process was very competitive.
Teisha Smith-Harrison was selected to receive a Peggy Browning Fellowship for her work at the Community Justice Project in Pittsburgh, PA. The Peggy Browning Fund provides stipends to law students who dedicate their summers to advancing the cause of workers' rights.
