Appellate Moot Court Board team named semi-finalists, Zimmer earns advocate honor

Duquesne Law students Adrienne Box, Jamie Inferrera, and Samantha Zimmer were named regional semi-finalists at the National Appellate Advocacy Competition (NAAC) in Philadelphia this weekend, and Zimmer was named Sixth Best Advocate out of more than 60 competitors. The students beat teams from Case Western, Texas Tech, and Wake Forest. The Duquesne Law team was undefeated, 3-0, going into the semi-final round, before a close loss to Regent.

Students Amy Kerlin, Drew Sheldon, and Matt Goddard also competed in the prestigious American Bar Association competition and gave a strong showing, losing by only .55 in the third round.
