You can gain professional experience and exposure to the workings of the legal system of the United States right here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Walk down the hill from Duquesne University School of Law, cross the street and you’re in the city's legal epicenter. Courthouses, city and county offices, and many law firms are clustered in the Forbes Avenue and Grant and Ross Street areas. Scores of other law offices and corporate headquarters are within just a few blocks.

Pittsburgh's compact urban center, with all its amenities, sits at the University's doorstep. A revitalized cultural district, with a world-class symphony orchestra, opera, ballet and theater, is within a 10-minute walk. Shopping, dining, and nightlife can be found throughout downtown, in the nearby Strip District and in local neighborhoods. PPG Arena- home to the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team as well as numerous concerts and shows - is just a block from campus. Other major league sports venues are located within about a mile of campus, including the Pittsburgh Pirates’ PNC Park and the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Heinz Field.
