Allegheny Co. Bar Assn. Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast

The Allegheny County Bar Association’s Homer S. Brown Division will host the 19th Annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast and Program on Monday, Jan. 15, 2018 at the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 2001 Wylie Ave., Pittsburgh, 15219.

The buffet breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. and be followed by a brief program at 8:30 a.m. 

The Homer S. Brown Division will honor Paul H. Titus, Esq., of Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, LLP as the recipient of its 2018 Drum Major for Justice Award during the program. The award originates from one of Dr. King's final sermons about a eulogy that might be given in the event of his death.

The event is free and open to the public.

Pro Bono Credit

Law students will earn pro bono hours for attending the program by registering and checking in with Prof. Tracey McCants Lewis at the event. Please bring a pro bono form with you.

Bus Leaves Campus at 7:30 a.m.

As in past years, students will travel by bus. The University will coordinate the travel and board in front of the School of Law/Duquesne Union. Departure will be at 7:30 a.m. (Note later time!) Students will be returned to campus immediately after the program.
