Join us for a presentation about the legal internships available with the Immigration Legal Services Clinic at Jewish Family & Children's Service.  Mr. Andrew Vantreeck will talk with students about the internship experience as well as some new changes to the program.

Law student interns at JFCS Immigrant Legal Services receive an intensive, hands-on experience dealing with an array of family-based, humanitarian, and removal immigration cases. Tasks include working on Green Card and Citizenship applications, relative petitions, VAWA and human trafficking cases, and removal/hardship cases. Student interns will be trained and supervised at all times by staff attorneys and accredited representatives at JFCS. Students also have the opportunity to attend USCIS interviews and Immigration Court hearings on a semi-regular basis, as well as free attendance to many CLEs sponsored by JFCS on various immigration topics.

If you’re a 2L looking for a spring internship or a 1L looking for a summer internship, plan to join us for coffee and donuts.

Please RSVP at DuqLawConnect (under the “Events” tab).
