In support of comment 8.1  to Rule 1.1, Competence, a lawyer should keep abreast of changes including the risks and benefits associated with relevant technology. This course will be a brief look back at the history of legal research from pre-Colonial days to the present, showing some of the newer technologies including Westlaw Edge and Drafting Assistant and, if time, West KM.
