Chabad House honors Prof. Kitchen

Professor Rona Kaufman Kitchen was recently honored by Chabad House, a Jewish student group active on campuses across the region. Kitchen was recognized during the University of Pittsburgh's Chabad House on Campus 28th Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m., in the O'Hara Student Center on Pitt's campus. 

The event showcased Chabad House’s social, educational, and cultural programming, which benefits local students, universities, and communities.

Kitchen was being honored among a small group of distinguished program alumni. 

The Duquesne Law associate professor teaches Contracts, Employment Discrimination, and Family Law. Her scholarship on how various areas of law impact primary caretakers, specifically mothers. Among other roles, she advises the Jewish Law Student Association, the Labor and Employment Law Society, and the Women's Law Association.
