Day of Giving raises more than $23,000 for law school initiatives

Friday, February 9, 2018

The Duquesne Law community joined together on Duquesne’s 2018 Day of Giving to unlock three law alumni challenges and successfully raise more than $23,000 for law school programs. The 24-hour event resulted in 106 individual gifts to support the law school’s clinics, bar studies, scholarships, and other important programs directly benefitting law students.

The Duquesne Law community unlocked a total of more than $7,500 offered by the Duquesne Law Alumni Association, as well as a personal challenge by former DLAA president (and current Board of Governors’ member) Garry Nelson.

Gifts came from Duquesne Law alumni throughout the country, as well as the dean, administrators, faculty, staff, and students. An update on the law school’s DU Day of Giving 2018 results is available on the law school's campaign page.
